The National Center for Science Education, a clearinghouse for information on teaching evolution and opposing non-science in science classrooms, has long had a web site with both breaking news and critical resources. Now, the NCSE web site has syndicated content using an RSS 2.0 compliant feed. Please pass the word along…

Thank you very much!

All I see is a bunch of html code.

Steve: Copy the URL and put it into a newsreader like FeedDemon, Bloglines.com or NetNewsWire and you'll see it light up!

I've tried out rss in the past, but most of the sites I went to did not have descriptive enough information via RSS to select what to read. I had to go to their sites anyway. It became too much of a hassle, and I stopped. Hope it's changed.

Well, I don't exactly have a newsreader configured on this here machine, so I guess I'll have to wait with the rest of the luddites to see what the fuss is about.

I would like to point out that we are already syndicating NCSE's Feed. Just look for the RSS Feed box on the main index.

Sorry, but I don't see anything but html code either. I copied the url into the explorer address slot and got the same garbage.
Maybe it is age.

To use RSS, you need a reader or "aggregator". The following link lists a number of readers for various platforms.
