Convention Draw?

The Cincinnati Post has a story about the possibility that AiG's creation science museum will encourage religious groups to hold conventions in the Cincinnati area. No word yet on whether it will discourage the realty base community from coming to Cincinnati as well. But I guess that, with Kent Hovind in jail, AiG is going to have to pick up the slack in the mis-education of America.

Given recent revelations (pun intended) about the extracurricular activities of some of our favorite evangelical christians, one has to wonder if Cincinnati has enough booze, drugs, and prostitutes to service a convention of bible thumpers . . . . . . .

Wow. That page is, um, an interesting viewpoint, to say the least. I love his overall point, though, that evolution is not, and can never be, science. Mostly because it's the theory of evolution, and theories are subject to constant re-evaluation as new information comes in. So evolution can't be science because it's, um, subject to the scientific method. Thanks a lot, wamba, now my head hurts.

Indeed-you oughta see what Nashville goes through when the Southern Baptist Convention is held.
