Will somebody please stop to think about the detrimental effect such images have on the purity of thought of our female servants?

Okay Matt, I know that this is suppose to be a mushroom, but I'm completely stumped. BTW, my review of you know what is now at Amazon. Hope you and TE like it a lot. Ditto Gary Hurd too, and I really emphasize with his voting problems there, but alas he should grin and bear it (I've tried.).

Years ago, this mushroom would pop up in our front yard over night, causing my wife to run out first thing in the morning to smash them with a broom before we embarrassed the neighbors. But I must say our Phalus impudica was much larger. David

My brief googling suggests "edible" but not "palatable". (I will refrain from further comment which might get me into trouble.)
If you think the photo above is bad, check the Phallus hadriani, sixth picture down at http://www.mushroomexpert.com/stinkhorn_fame.html. You can't make up stuff like this.

Based on this picture, I would have assumed that God had a preference for circumcision, but after looking at the stinkhorn website, I'm not so sure...

Heh, I've found these in my yard. Seemed like they grew overnight. My instant thought was, "My god, my yard is being invaded by penises!"
