Someone laid a goose egg.

Turned out pretty well, actually.

They have some of these at the Oakland CA Zoo. Occasionally they "migrate" a short distance away. A few years ago one showed up at a local lagoon in Alameda where there are lots of Canada geese and mallards - it didn't seem to be welcome in either group, and eventually disappeared.

We have one at the Cleveland (Ohio) zoo.
